Annelies Martijn, di professione portiere, Nazionale olandese ha scelto senza esitare di giocare in Italia il Campionato di Beach Soccer femminile. L’interesse delle migliori atlete straniere per il nostro campionato fa si che il movimento tutto possa giovarne.
Come sei arrivata ad apprezzare il beach soccer in Italia?
“L’allenatore dell’anno scorso mi ha visto giocare nella Euro Winners Cup. Era alla ricerca di un portiere. Mi ha contattata. Ho sempre voluto giocare in italia. Quindi la mia risposta è stata sì. Quest’anno il presidente mi ha chiesto di giocare ancora per lui. Lo scorso anno mi sono divertita tanto ed ho imparato molto e ho detto di nuovo sì! Amo giocare per persone che amano la città e la propria squadra come è successo col Terracina Femminile”.
Ma quali differenze ci sono tra il calcio femminile tra i due Paesi?
“Gli italiani sono così appassionati quando praticano lo sport e questo lo vedi nel futsal, nel beachsoccer e sull’erba. Amo questa passione. In Olanda, gli olandesi, sono più riservati nelle loro espressioni”.
L’obiettivo di quest’anno personale e del Terracina BS?
“Vorremmo vincere lo scudetto. E’ il mio obiettivo personale e della squadra”.
Un ultima domanda. Come ti sei trovata in Italia e che difficoltà di ambientamento hai avuto?
“Mi sono dovuto abituare all’Italia ma, una volta entrato nel team, è stato davvero facile. Devo dire che a Terracina sono stati molto gentili con me e mi sentivo come a casa”.
