Terracina – Terzo successo, terzo tricolore consecutivo per la formazione del Lady Terracina che anche quest’anno ha tolto ogni dubbio a chi pensava che potesse lasciare ad altri il gradino più alto del podio. Non è arrivato ancora il momento perché, secondo capitan Debora Naticchioni, “il Lady Terracina vince perché prima di tutto è un gruppo”.
Ma questo successo ha un sapore diverso rispetto agli altri conquistati negli anni passati?
“Da un lato si perché era diventata una sfida a livello psicologico con l’altra squadra di Terracina. Volevamo mettere in chiaro che i Campioni d’Italia siamo noi e volevamo raggiungere la terza vittoria consecutiva”.

Ma qualche dubbio di non arrivare in alto vi è balenato nella mente durante la fase di preparazione?
“Tornati dall’Euro League qualche dubbio e qualche perplessità l’abbiamo avuta. Poi sono arrivati dei rinforzi e il rientro in squadra della nazionali Bartoli e Iannelli ci hanno permesso di cancellare ogni dubbio”.
Qualche ricordo delle vittorie trascorse?
“Più che ricordo vorrei far capire che nel beach soccer femminile in questo momento le squadre cambiano ogni anno e non sappiamo mai contro chi e con chi vai a giocare. Noi siamo sempre lo stesso gruppo da diversi anni con qualche innesto di qualità. Nelle altre squadre questo non succede. Ad esempio, il Catanzaro che aveva partecipato alle scorse due edizioni nella terza non si è iscritta, il Napoli ha cambiato tanto. Per farla breve diciamo che ogni anno è una sorpresa”.

Il capitano, di solito, nello spogliatoio, a fine campionato, tiene un discorso ai compagni e alla dirigenza, le va di farne uno attraverso le pagine del “Bello dello Sport”?
“Ci tengo tanto a ringraziare il presidente Sara Di Fonsi, i due allenatori Alessio Cicerani e Valerio Del Duca che sono state due persone fantastiche, nonché tutto lo staff e, in particolare alle tre ragazze inglesi (Sarah Kempo, Little Katie e Soldier Gemma) che si sono dimostrate professioniste e grandi persone nello stesso tempo. Ma ci tengo ad aggiungere che sono felice del risultato e del percorso che abbiamo fatto perché questo ha creato un forte legame tra noi e questo ci servirà per far bene anche nel prossimo futuro”.
